Fulton Market, is part of the West Loop, but it's own "thing". It was a food warehouse district 15 years ago and is now the hottest place in town. Tons of businesses are moving there (Google and McDonalds corporate (among others) are there and it's a super hot restaurant area. I knew a guy who owned an open parking lot there maybe 15 years ago and sold it ultimately for millions to be built on.
North Center is basically a composite area made up of Avondale, Roscoe Village and Lincoln Square (I got lazy). Logan Square is still described distinctly, but lines are certainly blurred with Bucktown. Chicago is very much a city of neighborhoods, so they all are sort of distinct, but sometimes the edges blur or get lumped together for ease of discussion.
