Longest I’ve stayed in about 20 years is a 20 hour layover at the airport Sheraton. Nice, but no good if you’re there for more than a day. -- nm

i don't know if Paris has much of the traditional kind of Hilton/Hyatt american style chain hotels. i liked the Le Marais area for a central spot -- (link)
