Not at all. But the fact of the matter is that you probably would walk accross the street (lots of white people do). We all act on our experience

one way or the other. You're okay with it when its the police acting on their experience, but it goes both ways. And in your example we're talking about people in equal positions of power and in the actual case, it's not. You also have the ability to change people's perceptions through experience. Those in authority should try to do that too. There was really no reason to arrest him other than he was really annoying and made their lives more unpleasant. That's not an arrestable offense.
