So there's many of example of the works living on though the IP part long expired and it hasn't diminished the works and in the case of Shakespeare, without the works being protected / hemmed in by modern definitions of IP, it's allowed for countless adaptations as well as there's a portion of the world that has a slavish dedication to trying to preserve as much as possible (see the recreation of the Globe Theater)
Would we even care or know about Shakespeare if there'd been ever renewing IP limitations?
So creative works should fall under the if you love something set it free? Though at the same time, isn't that directly contradictory to the keeping creative works out AI learning libraries mantra?
