it varies by hospital/system/practice. iirc, stanford hospital seemed to have a code that was more limited, others I was in or visited notsomuch.

the places that have had more variety usually have had employee badges with big letters reflecting MD or RN or LVN or CNA, etc. sometimes they’re even turned the right way. ;) -
(between my stuff and family, I’ve spent way too much time at medical facilities in the last several years.)
