Keep in mind that GoreTex might make the sneaker a bit stiffer and less breathable. I have a few with it and it's nice when it's raining

But it adds a little stiffness to the sneakers. I wear the Air Max 90 with GoreTex when there's rain in the forecast and they work perfectly.
