There are specific venues for the official showcases. Likely the best places to be seen. Also, I forgot to add, that a label mate from my daughter's

publishing label is in one of the showcases and will be there. Her name is Fabiana Paladino and her recent single was a collaboration with Jai Paul, which was kind of a big deal. She's from the UK and very well connected (if you recognize the last name, she is the daughter of Pino Paladino) and is managed by someone who my daughter worked a lot with at the label (he left to go manage Fabiana). In any event, Fabiana (who she has never met in person, but they occasionally DM on instagram) said that she would love to meet up and hang out there (and would love to see her perform if she gets booked), so that could present some good networking opportunities as well. I'm pretty sure she's going to go whether she gets booked or not. Hopefully it's worthwhile.
