yep. they're a great ingredient in brewing because you can get chocolate flavor without the oils. they're also a nice finish for very sweet deserts

they add some crunch and additional chocolate depth without adding even more sugar. you generally grind them up for that, like a coarse coffee ground.
I'll eat a whole cocoa nib, but it's kind of like coffee beans.. it's a good way to taste the whole flavor in a pure way, but doesn't have a good texture.
Chocolate covered cocoa nibs are kind of nice though, as a little sweet treat.
