PIRR? my garage was built in the mid-197s and has a very heavy old wooden door with no opener and no reasonable possibility of ever having one.

today, dude is coming to quote me for replacing the door with a new one and installing an opener. I swoon!
how much do we think this will cost me?
(only a very small amount of insulation is needed, my garage is detached.)

I know I paid about $1,000 for a double door and opener. But that was just a replacement with all the tracks, etc. alread there. -- nm
