I wonder if things shift back if Trump loses again. There needs to be a charismatic figurehead that can say "This path we have chosen and gone along with is not a path to success at all. It's lost each of the last four elections. We need to go in this new direction."

Don't know if that will even matter any more. Even if Trump died or went to prison.
