Louvre itself won't sell tickets until 3 months prior. Most sites - like Viator - up-sell you with guided tour options.

I mean, of course. If you can just buy tickets on the Louvre website, why buy them from Viator? I guess I'll have to wait on this one until May.

And anyone under 18 is free. You can only "buy" those free tickets from the Louvre website. -- nm
