streamers for a single season of a show.
I think there were way more pilots than there are currently single season throw it at the wall streamers.
Oh, and there's no doubt that domestically, pilot season was way better than buying foreign made media.
So in my mind, pilot season meant lots of people employed for a super short term, guaranteed. Though there was the better than lottery ticket chance of being picked up and who knows where that's going. As well as the super lottery ticket of being long term show and perhaps syndication.
Contrasted with less people employed but employed for a longer time (at least one season streaming) but with far, far less lottery like chances.
I guess this has to exclude the showrunner types who were given super lottery type winning tickets from streamers. Though it's not exactly like they were the typical pilot type participants?
