So, this doesn't bode well. My mother fell last night and has a fractured pelvis. She is 83. Her mobility has declined a lot in recent months -- (edited)

it was very noticeable over Christmas and in PR.
I really think it stems from her covid infection in October, she was so sick and then really tired after that so she wasn't moving very much and i think it's so easy to lose muscle and strength at that age.
Anyway, my brother is there with her right now, and we are going to have to figure out some sort of alternating visiting schedule as i think this will be a long recovery with time in a rehab centre. She's about 2 hours away from Toronto.
Getting older sucks y'all.
