I’m less interested in the cities themselves. I’m more interested in nature, hiking, etc. Everything I have listed as a side trip is a tour that I found so it would include transportation. I just pulled up Viator for each place and looked for stuff that seemed interesting. I would certainly likely modify the itinerary. In my experience most of the tours don’t need to be booked much in advance so I could make decisions once I’m there. Advance book the must do’s and play other things by ear.

The Uluru area tours were both sunrise tours. In both Croatia and Costa Rica I booked most everything through Viator. I like the convenience of everything in one app. Plus, as a solo traveler being on a small group tour works out to meet people.
