Yup.

At a depth of 6 feet, water pressure is equivalent to about 2.5 pounds per square inch. A 10 inch by 10 inch square of surface area on the exterior of a car door will have 250 lbs. of pressure against it.
How many of us could push against just that while stuck in a drivers' seat?
The entire car door would have several hundred pounds of force acting against it at just that depth -- maybe half a ton or more?
I dunno. Let Reagen do the math.
Or go watch the Mythbusters episode.
