The initial badge pickup was indeed the worst but through dumb luck, I was able to cut the wait to about 15-20 minutes

When I walked up to center there was guy directing people that the doors more or less behind him were for those with badges (Door E) and waaaay down to the right (Door A) was for those who needed to pick up badges.
I blindly headed right and got to about B or so when I realized I was walking along the line.
I reversed direction looking for the end and ended up more or less back at E but in perhaps the second best timing of the day, I ended up at E just as they were opening it as a second badge pick up entrance
