should I do in NOLA? Her thing is in the morning and then I most likely will have the entire day free until I meet up with her again in the late evening to have her overnight at my hotel instead of getting up at 4am with the rest of the trip.

We planned all this right after she got out of the hospital as we expected the 4am -> Midnight bus trip back to school would be difficult. Works out great as she gets to spend the end of spring break with us before going back to school but I have to fill a day in NOLA :)
