since I WFH now I think of moving somewhere cheaper (SC is very expensive considering we have nothing here) but there is no "cheaper"

my house is golden handcuffs. I could never afford to buy it now even if interest rates were lower.

House prices around here have doubled in the last 10-15 years. It's so crazy to see it. A lot of people do not stand a chance.

I sympathize. Kim and I were just discussing this weekend. A place we loved is where we wanted to own barely 3 years ago. It's listed at 140% higher.
