District 9 seems like it would be stealing some thunder. plus there are a *ton* of "ragtag rebels against the alien occupier" scripts out there now

Spielberg is exec producing a series that is being cast right now
"Uprising" is another feature that's in development
i was just thinking today of ways to flip it and have the aliens be living amongst humans as regular immigrants but then i remembered that was basically Alien Nation.
