Also, the tyre guy I go to imports 2nd hand tyres from Germany. I can’t tell the difference in tread depth from a new tyre. I asked him once, how come

they took off this tyre. And he shrugs and said, the Germans change their tyres every few months. He sells them for 75 each now. A few years ago he was selling them for 50 each. And that includes taking off your old tyres and fitting and balancing them. Business wise, there’s always a queue. He’s flat out.
