Plus, it wasn't like he pulled them to a division title. They were nearly 20 games back

Sure, Baltimore probably won't win 101 again but that's still 18 games to make up and it's not like the O's were freakishly lucky or torn down in free agency.
Regression probably gets them to 92-93 wins which is still 10 games to make up for the Yankees.
