1 - didn't know Grindr was owned by a Chinese company who was forced to sell. 2 - the Chinese aren't giving you a free app out of the kindness

..of their hearts. Sure, user experience is important. They want you to use the app. But if you're not paying, AND there's no ads, then YOUR are the commodity.
