Super cynically this strikes me as not the worst idea. Kind of leave Tik Tok as is. Keep collecting all the data that they're accused of funneling

So whatever revenues Tik Tok generates, the new US company gets that.
But in a new to Tik Tok, the now US owned company, there's a brand new revenue stream. Just like all the other US data collecting companies, the not China owned company can now package up the data and sell it on the open market which includes, guess who? Chinese companies
