It went from Agatha Christie to some kind of spy thriller with bits of industrial espionage and corporate intrigue. Then the mercenaries showed up! We took a detour into disaster movie but that lasted maybe 5 minutes. Then it was the Black List (I mean, it was pretty much the plot of the Black List). And in the last episode, you’d think that they’d pull it all together but it’s just a series of vignettes with flashbacks, flash forwards, and flash sideways, so it’s hard to tell what’s happening to who, when. I mean, it ends with our friends stumbling across a chopped up body. I’m not clear as to who that is supposed to be our why our friends are there. It’s like they were all just out for a walk and “What’s this?! A severed limb!” Cut to credits.
