aslo, for all of the Roberts Court's "established historical tradition" bullshit, they conveniently ignored the actual history of Confederate

assholes like Jefferson Davis who were actually disqualified under the new 14th Amendment without any other acts of Congress or nothin. it worked the way it was intended to work back then and should have worked today
