*I* don't hold those views, but I'm supposing that those who have limited exposure to gays in their pesonal life have to take what is offered

and that comes from TV imagery, one of which is a gay pride parade. I don't think the average gay on TV does much to help either, but it isn't nearly has offensive of a depiction as what people may see being directly acted out
