But ESPN has been stepping up their ads on ESPN+ across the board, at least.

When they’re playing back live content from a local channel (like hockey games), they run their own ads instead of the local ads. But if they run out of ads and the local program hasn’t resumed yet, they used to play this short 10-20 second ESPN promo, just over and over until the program resumed. Just in the last week, they’ve reformatted the promo so that it’s only got music rather than narration that would surely have driven someone to murder. I’ve also noticed more variety in the ads. So good stuff across the board.
