In response to "DOJ Apple breakdown via Hard Fork: 1) Super apps 2) Cloud gaming 3) Messaging (green bubble) 4) Accessories (Smart Watches) 5) Apple Pay (NFC)" by oblique

They’re going after the core of the “Apple ecosystem” premise.

I see this at work. “I have an iPhone, so I need a Mac to pair it with so I can just seamlessly move my conversation from one device to the other. Then I need an Apple Watch to do the same. And my Air Pods just pair from one device to the next.” Of course, our response to this nonsense is “LOL”. None of this works without discoverability and on a secure corporate network, that’s not gonna happen. But you see the consumer so desperate for it to happen. And it only happens if you’re 100% Apple.
