Sounds very much what my wife has been going through. Thankfully, she had her last chemo session last Thursday. I don't usually post personal stuff

here and, have not mentioned this before now, but it's pretty much over so I'll share.
Last October, after some minor symptoms and testing it was determined my wife had uterine cancer and underwent a hysterectomy. Within that process, the lymph nodes are tested and, unfortunately, they showed a trace amount of cancer cells meaning the cancer might have spread. So six chemo sessions were required, each 3 weeks apart.
This timing sounds just like Kate's as they couldn't start chemo for about 5 weeks after surgery.
Anyway, the chemo sucked just like everybody says but we're glad it's over and looking forward to better things to come this Spring, Summer, and forever.
