reposting my B2 Chizza report as I put a tiny amount of work into it: "Chizza report (do not try this at home, I am a self-trained non-professional)"

The Chizza is supposed to be a cross of pizza and KFC, essentially a pepperoni pizza on top of a boneless chicken breast. The KFC website describes it as "this fried chicken pizza combination includes 2 of our Extra Crispy boneless chicken filets topped with savory marinara sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese, and a kick of pepperoni."

Well, the Extra Crispy KFC chicken filets are no mystery but the rest of the ingredients are not exactly as described. The marinara is not savory but extremely sweet, like a low end pizza chain's sauce. The pepperoni is a tad worse, the flavor reminded me of low end frozen pizza. But the absolute offender is the mozzarella cheese, a totally bland concoction.

When you bite into the Chizza, the blandness of the mozzarella makes it totally disappear. If you didn't see it on the item, you'd forget the cheese is there.

Likewise, the immense thickness disparity between the pepperoni and chicken makes the pepperoni disappear. If you get a piece of pepperoni near the edge of the chicken where it is thinner, you can then taste the pepperoni unlike the cheese. But the cheap frozen pizza quality of the pepperoni makes you forget its flavor as soon as it is swallowed.

What does not disappear is the marinara. You are getting two things with the Chizza: the novelty and marinara on a boneless Extra Crispy KFC piece. I'm not saying there will never be anything there. I just feel the overly sweet nature of the marinara makes it not for me. Had this been a more savory rustic tomato sauce, then maybe my grade of this would be higher.

So what you are left with is the novelty of the Chizza. You eat it and say "I don't never need to try that again in my life". You try to convince yourself that you are experiencing life by occasionally doing something stupid like eating a Chizza. And you hope your friends will be grossed out and find it conversation worthy.

But that is only worth a 3 out of 10.

KFC Chizza 3/10
