My biggest complaint about the previous entry was that it was too much nostalgia in lieu of a plot. How's this one on that scale?

I had a good enough time with the last, but am not rushing out to see this one.

my complaint with the last one was they reused the villain. You can do literally ANYTHING and did that same thing again? This didn't do that/ -- nm
