connected to our street (formerly a half arc, now a full arc/loop). Of course, there is a lot of construction traffic but mostly it's been fine. Lately, however, the trucks hauling rocks have been spilling on the street, not a big deal, but on Friday it was a pretty decent amount of large rocks in the street. Now, they don't even have to drive down our street to get to the construction, they could use the other part of the arc (the new street) and stay fully within the construction zone.
One of the neighbors wrote to the city who, at the beginning of the project, had indicated we should contact them if we had any issues during construction. We emailed as well since a fair amount of the rocks ended up in front of our house and also suggested that maybe they didn't even need to drive down our street. The city person had indicated it would be taken care of on Friday. They followed up with me yesterday and I sent a pic showing nothing had been done all weekend. The city person told me they would get on it
Just now someone else in the neighborhood group posted that the city person was P-I-S-S-E-D at the builder, is having the city clean it up and bill the builder and telling the builder that no construction traffic should go down our street.
