Hmmm Tractor Supply has a 36in Blackstone griddle for $250. The Weber 22in insert for my grill is $200.

It makes way more sense to buy the griddle for the extra space, right?

The dome lid is an extra $250 (so $500). I'm not sure I can justify $250 for a lid with a hinge. -- nm

I'd get the griddle over a grill insert - they're better set up for cleaning, pushing grease off, probably heats more even. -- nm

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Larger surface should also allow for more temp control for zoned cooking. -- nm
