here. Your summary is right every year ...

Except for the years that they truly suck.

Crazy that most fans were not born the last time the Leafs raised the cup. They won't know that there were still only SIX TEAMS in the league that season (the last before going to 12 teams for '67-'68).

And then in the offseason, they like all Toronto teams will hem and haw over free agents for far too long and they'll miss signing any of them.

In September, you start hearing, "This will be the year" ... It won't be.

- Easily. Waiting list for season tickets is years long. A huge part of Buffalo's market is people coming across from Ontario. - zork Apr 2, 19:20
