Best re-read: Dune (winner by default, but still pretty great)
Biggest positive surprise: The Hike (admittedly crude and sometimes gross but highly entertaining)
Biggest negative surprise: Our Blue Orange (like HHGTTG but trying too hard)
Biggest surprise surprise: A Marvellous Light (for the very explicit gay sex scenes...plural)
