I feel bad for him in that storyline since he was busted up and needed time to get well but the Devil payoff did nothing since Cole is also hurt and the other guys aren’t setting the world on fire.
I’m about 98% sure he re-signed and the 2% isn’t going to impact WM’s storylines. This is the Roman/Cody finale and the next step in Roman/Rock/Cody’s divergent paths.
I don’t know what’s next for Cody but I would be shocked if it’s anyone other outside of the Bloodline until they can reshuffle the rosters.
Gunther / Rollins / Drew /Punk / Damien Priest… on Raw
vs Owens / Orton / Bloodline on Smackdown is unequal.
