Plus, Netflix is wildly profitable. Hulu has had steady profit for a while now. Max just got a year of profitability. -- (edited)

Pretty much all of the streaming services are moving towards profitability. It's not the panacea some were describing but it's also not the albatross pixie is suggesting.
If companies can slowly build, streaming will eventually make money for them.
