I had a very similar feeling before Xmas but my own producer said "hey if that's what you want you should do it; my job is to fill roles in any case"

(however that translates in text, he meant it as a compliment and encouragement without any guilt trip) This was only a couple weeks after he had said "I wish we had two of you" so I was feeling like I didn't want to abandon that.
In the end the job opening went to someone who was well suited for the role and I'm still doing what I enjoy so no big deal. But it's a reminder that I want to be prepared to leave for any opportunity that presents itself if it's something I want to do.
