The Viper room didn't kill him. Addiction did. He'd be dead in weeks regardless. It's like asking what roles Belushi or Farley would have had. NONE.

I'm aware that RDJ pulled himself out of self destruction, but he had help. River, John and Chris had none.
River is a sad loss.
