They're getting a ridiculous amount of free P.R. in hopes of getting a massive amount of public money to "help" in the construction.
It would look cool but the Bears already have property in the suburbs. Just borrow the money and build one yourself out there.

Relatively but not walking distance(I don't think). The ballpark would be west of the lake but closer to downtown than the current one. -- nm
