matter devices. Doesn't have to be on the same box as HA but if I'm going to run a separate box I might as well move everything to that box.

Running the server means I can talk to Matter devices. The one I have currently is my Nest thermostat but I imagine more will be coming or upgraded to support it through firmware like the Nest did.
