does your daughter produce her own material at this point or still work with a producer/engineer to record, mix, master?

if the latter, how does she finesse (or not finesse) getting the sound she wants from a track while also giving the producer the benefit of his/her knowledge and expertise?

Responses:

She generally co-produces her songs with another producer and others do the mixing and mastering. Typically her process is that she does a basic demo - pmb Apr 25, 11:23 5
- no that's basically where i am with a producer i hired to mix/master four demos. mostly it's been fine (all the instrumentation is me, he just tracked - hollywood big shot Apr 25, 11:28 4
