She is my best friend of many decades now. I know that I have to try not to pull her completely under with this.

I am as scared and frightened as I’ve ever been in my life. I’m afraid that I’ll end up without a place to live. I feel like I’m being dissected with first the car and then the job. And I won’t have anything left.
And those are extremely terrifying things.
Which is why it’s so important that I try to keep going. I’ll do the things I can do.
