to take advantage of the rise in popularity. The games are being played in large numbers again so it would be smart to try and get a game out while the show is pushing people to be interested in the IP.
I'm not sure how possible that really is though as my understanding is they weren't planning on releasing Fallout 5 for at least 6 more years. Rumors were that 2030 was looking like the earliest we would get it. They are working on other Fallout games and expansions for current games. It'll be interesting to see what gets pushed aside if Microsoft pushes them to focus on Fallout 5.
