Yea that would definitely be a risk for Venus. But the benefits to Charlie would be great. He'd be able to work on getting out Maria, while she still trusted him completely, "Oh darn, she played her idol. Not your fault." (and his number one physical threat would be gone)

but she realllly threw Charlie for a loop with her bullshit to him right before Tribal. He may have had been on board with ousting Q up until that point.

at the very least, she should have just kept it to herself (like she almost did) and played her idol anyways.

But instead:

"Oh sometimes its better to not even play. And point to how good your social game was that you didnt even need it."

LOL okay Venus. Might want to check that ego of yours at door.

Charlie is now in a rough spot imo.
