Hey has anyone else been to the new "self serve brew wall" style pub/bars yet? There's one just up the road and I really like it a lot.

the cool thing is ... you can get as much or as little of one as you want ... so you can try lots of things on a budget pay. The last 2 times I've gone for lunch my bar tab for 2 different options was $7 ish both times. and they rotate the taps quite a bit - there were only a few still the same between my 3 visits ... once with my brother while he was still here and showed me the new place. We each got the small glass set of 4 to try 4 things that day. over those 3 visits - basically 4 weeks time, I think only 7 of all of their taps were the same.
The other thing I really liked about it was - no waiting - you can go up anytime you want to fill up or change up. And if you aren't sure about one - you can just take a sip and then either turn it off and move on - or fill it as much as you want. It displays the cost of your pour as you are pouring it too.
I keep thinking how cool it would be to have at an outdoor concert - like a food truck only it's a "tap truck" ... they keep your tab that you use to pour the taps on a credit card you give them that tracks what you bought and gives you a print out at the end so you can remember what you tried and know what you did or did not like.
For the board that holds the 4 glasses for sampling - they have chalk board paint on them and give you chalk to mark which is which too.
Brilliant concept.
OH - and it helps having really good solid bar food too - their wood fired pizzas are terrific.
