One day, U Sier Lapalang, while working in the fields, noticed a group of heavenly nymphs descending to bathe in a pristine river near his village. The couple lived happily for many years, birthing children, and thriving in love and harmony. However, as time passed, Ka Likai longed to visit her heavenly home. She implored U Sier to return her divine garments. Moved by her longing and honesty, U Sier relented, restoring her clothes.
Upon her return to the heavens, Ka Likai realized how deeply she missed her earthly family. She pleaded with the celestial beings to allow her return. Touched by her dedication to both her worlds, the gods granted her the boon to travel between the heavens and the earth. This tale symbolically bridges the human emotions of love, commitment, and the balancing act between personal desires and responsibilities.
