Right. Ultimately, there is an upper limit on the amount of resources we can consume as a planet. -- (edited)

I remember a website shared here years ago that would calculate the number of earths required if everyone on the planet had the same level of consumption. At the time I was living in an apartment without a car and it was still multiple planets worth for everyone to have that same standard of living. Can’t even imagine what it might be today.
