before the people that his party are best placed to have the foresight to govern effectively rather than the opposition. And yet in a 3 minute speech he couldn’t foresee that it was about to rain and he got absolutely drenched. There wasn’t even someone on hand with an umbrella. All while the song “Things can only get better” was playing. It’s like something from The Thick of It.
