I'm honestly not sure what keeps getting me. Most of the time I don't feel the bite/sting because they get me so close to the shin.

Shin area has less nerves.

This happened 2 days ago. Usually within 12 hours it starts to get itchy and feel a little firm beneath the skin. Within 24 hrs a blister starts. Eventually the area will discolor and the blister will go away and then around 2 weeks everything is back to normal.

- Don't think so. Those are normally a cluster of bites. Mine tend to be single. No wasps, no ants. Possibly mosquitos or something else. I wear knee - sycor May 24, 05:33 3
  - A Google Lens search says it's likely form mosquitoes. A lot of people seem to get this like you and they report it being from mosquitoes. -- nm - Krusty May 24, 05:43 2
